The Bead Room opened in August 2003 and grew to be the largest full service bead shop in the area, servicing all aspects of the gem industry. Contributing to shows all along the east coast from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia, the shop quickly grew in other areas of the beading industry.
Owned and operated by it’s parent company Stern, Inc., the company expanded to meet the demands of the gem industry. In 2007, a new website was launched - N C Wholesale Beads. www.ncwholesalebeads.com , which became one of the fastest growing websites in the country.
